Robert A Evans, Ph.D.

ROBERT A. EVANS, Ph.D. is an Educational Psychologist who earned his Doctorate from The Catholic University of America in 1982. Counted among his graduate training was extensive training with Dr. Wayne Dyer in group process skills. Dr. Evans has over 25 years of experience in applied psychology and the behavioral sciences.

Dr. Evans has practiced in a wide variety of areas including: individual, group and family counseling; psycho-educational evaluations; development, delivery and evaluation of training and staff development. In addition he is a consultant to the medical, legal and law enforcement community in Central Florida on Psychological and Educational matters; provided Critical Incident Stress Debriefings to victims of crime in Central Florida; and provided expert testimony for legal cases involving violence in the workplace as well as child custody issues.

Dr. Evans is trained in Anger Management group facilitation by George Anderson, LCSW, BCD. He has trained employees from numerous organizations from AT&T to the U.S. Dept. of Defense. Recently he has completed his certification as County and Family Mediator, certified by the Florida Supreme Court. In addition, he completed Parenting Coordination training and meets the Florida Supreme Court's Work Group requirements on Parenting Coordination.

We conduct Child Custody Evaluations for those involved in Child Custody Disputes and specialize in Parental Alienation Syndrome. We also conduct psychological and Educational Evaluations in order to help place individuals in the most appropriate educational setting. Our evaluations also help place children in exceptional educational programs to include Specific Learning Disabilities, Gifted and Talented, Emotionally Handicapped, and others.

The State Bar Associations of California, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and Minnesota have each approved the Parental Alienation Syndrome Teleclass for 5 Continuing Legal Education credit hours.

We have applied to the bar associations of Connecticut, New York and Texas.
